Psst! We’re over here pretending to study a menu but secretly peeking over the top. Why? Everybody loves a meal out with a partner, yes even celebs, so we’re taking a look at where you should go should you wish to dine and date with the stars!

Who goes? David and Victoria Beckham, Lindsay Lohan, Nigella Lawson, Cara Delevigne, Rita Ora, Harry Styles, Ellie Goulding, Lily Allen.
Why it’s hot: This restaurant is the latest celebrity hotspot and part of the group owned by renowned hotelier André Balazs’ collection of bespoke, luxury hotels which include celebrity favourites The Mercer in Soho, New York, Chateau Marmont in Hollywood and Sunset Beach in Shelter Island plus The Hamptons. Located in Marylebone in a gothic, Victorian Grade II-listed building, the menu is relaxed with a lot of American influences. It’s particularly hard to get a table, so you will either need to book well in advance and pick a less popular time – Monday lunch or early dinner, for example.
Who goes? Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Robert de Niro, Elton John, Brad Pitt, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell
Why it’s hot: Located in the heart of Mayfair, Nobu is one of London’s most critically acclaimed and fashionable restaurants. The menu includes Nobu classic dishes, some of which are cooked in a Japanese wood-burning oven. There is also a 12-seater sushi bar. The giant endamame beans and chocolate bento boxes are a must.

Why it’s hot: This is a classic celebrity hangout known throughout the world and was witness to the Beckhams’ engagement many moons ago. Located in Covent Garden, it serves traditional British dishes. The Shepherd’s Pie is delicious!
Who goes? George Clooney, Thandie Newton, Elle MacPherson, Helena Bonham Carter
Why it’s hot: Owned by the world’s most Michelin-starred chef Joel Robuchon, who trained Gordon Ramsay in his restaurants around the world, this eatery is one of his global brand with siblings in Japan, Tokyo and NYC. Next door to The Ivy in Covent Garden, there is a counter-concept bar area on the ground floor, and more formal dining area on the first floor and a bar on the second floor.
Who goes? Madonna, Stella McCartney, Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, Patsy Kensit
Why it’s hot: This stylish Mayfair restaurant has a chic interior, smart waiters and a stunning Venetian tapas bar. They serve a fantastic breakfast or brunch and a wide variety of trendy salads for lunch. The chocolate fondant is legendary.
Who goes? Madonna, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Ewan McGregor, Kylie Minogue
Why it’s hot: This seafood and fish restaurant is owned by the people behind Le Caprice and The Ivy, so they know their target celeb market. Very popular with thespians, it is also a popular pre and post-theatre spot. Highlights include the shrimp and scallop burger and the monkfish and tiger prawn curry.
Who goes? Liam Neeson, Tamara Ecclestone, Ronny Wood, Tom Hanks, Milla Jovovich. The incident that unravelled Charles Saatchi and Nigella Lawson’s marriage also took place at Charles’ favourite table outside Scott’s.
Why it’s hot: Another Grande dame of London fish restaurants, Scott’s is famous for its oysters, fish and crustacean and there is also seasonal game, meat and vegetarian dishes on the menu. Service is rated ‘second-to-none’.
Tip: Don’t gush over your celebrity crush…it’s a bit rude when you’re with a date…
