Some of you may remember me as the crazy guy from Devon who planked on a horse and had a ridiculous collection of No Doubt merchandise or who came down the love lift on ITV’s Take Me Out last year. My date on the show didn’t exactly go to plan, she thought I was a bit nuts, but you will be happy to know I’m now all loved up with a girl who is equally, if not more, insane than me. God knows how I managed to find that.
We all know that finding love is never that easy. I mean, you’re on this site aren’t you? 1. Hue & Cry – Looking For Linda
Hue & Cry have got the right idea. They met a girl they liked, called Linda believe it or not, and they went out to find her. Now this doesn’t mean take up stalking, we know this never ends well, but I think what we are trying to say is to keep looking and if you meet someone then go for it. Sometimes love can be found in the most unexpected place. In this case on the train. I hope Hue & Cry found Linda in the end. She may have been a bit freaked out and changed her name though.
2. Aerosmith – Love In An Elevator
Talking about finding love in unexpected places, have you tried lifts? According to Aerosmith they are full of beautiful women and rockstars. Then again can you trust anyone that hangs around in a lift? What are they even doing there? I mean fair enough if you’re going from floor to floor but any prolonged time in there is just a bit odd don’t you think? Maybe this isn’t the best plan but I guess if you’re in a lift keep an eye out. You could be stood next to your future partner!
3. Black Eyes Peas – Where Is The Love?
I think you gotta ask yourself the same question as The Black Eyed Peas; “Where is the love?”. Where could the girl or guy of your dreams be? Get yourself out there and get yourself seen. Maybe the love is at a club, maybe a bar, maybe a cooking class, or maybe at your fingertips right on this website! Unless you take a look you will never know.
4. Justin Timberlake – Suit & Tie
Moral of this one, smarten up! You wanna impress you gotta be looking your best. You don’t want to be out and about wearing your baggies and with your hair a mess. Get yourself looking your best and show the world what you got. Last thing you want is to look great in your online photos and then not hold the same standard in person. Get pimped up and dress to impress.
5. Christina Aguilera – Beautiful
And finally the most important lesson of all. Learn to love yourself. We all come in different shapes, sizes, colours and that is what makes us all unique. Don’t ever feel anything but awesome. Whoever you find needs to love you for you and not a ‘fake’ version of you so always be yourself and be proud of who you are. In the worlds of Christina ‘You are beautiful no matter what they say’.
