Hong Kong is the culinary capital of Asia, so if you are looking for somewhere special to impress, you can’t go too far wrong. With trend-setting chefs, celebrated culinary festivals and incredible locations, there are a host of eateries that will wow both you and your date.

Pearl On The Peak – Situated in the Peak Tower, with 270-degree views of Central, Victoria Harbour and Kowloon, Pearl on the Peak is the perfect place to go and watch the sun go down while having dinner and a few drinks. Ask for a window table; there are floor to ceiling windows where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life below. The Western-inspired menu features succulent grills and mouth-watering seafood.
Caprice – One of the finest eateries in Hong Kong, this sixth-floor restaurant within The Four Seasons features stunning interiors and Chinese-inspired chandeliers and views over Victoria Harbour and across Kowloon. There are over 100 fine wines on the menu, which are mostly French and across all budgets. The open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant allows you to view your food as it is being made. This fine fining to a Tee and while it doesn’t come cheap; it is good value for money.
The Quarterdeck Club – Located at Fenwick Pier with fantastic views over Victoria Harbour, dinner here is best-enjoyed al-fresco on the wooden decking area (and is one of the only restaurants where you can do this in the city). The Australian-styled cuisine is mostly seafood-based and the portions are huge, so arrive hungry!
Le Marron – Screaming style and understated luxury, dining here is more like a private dining experience in someone’s home kitchen. Located in a commercial building opposite Sogo in Causeway Bay, the interior is a take on a Parisian living room with faux antique furniture and lace tablecloths and curtains. The cuisine is classic French with a modern International twist, with favourites including Confit de Canard and Baked Burgundy Escargots. It also operates a Bring Your Own Bottle – so you can pack a bottle of your favourite wine in your bag to wash the food down.
Anthony’s Catch – This cosy and unpretentious seafood restaurant has a great atmosphere and serves delicious Italian produce imported by its American owner. The food here is far cheaper than you pay in town, and the service and quality is excellent.
