Join us for Lovestruck goes Bowling, Sun 16 Sept – a night of fun and flirting (and a healthy bit of competition) at a private bowling alley in Holborn. Ladies tickets now SOLD OUT! Gents, BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment!
For anyone suffering serious Olympic withdrawal symptoms, head to the banks of the Thames this Saturday for the Great River Race 2012. Starting off at Millwall Riverside and ending in Richmond, you are also invited to Ham House, where from 12:30 you can enjoy food, drink and live music! Expect variety of vessels in this special race, including the gilded barge Gloriana, built especially for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Team GB rowing medalists Sophie Hosking and Rob Williams will be on board, too!
Who better to star in our favourite TV series remake than cockney walkabouts Ray Winstone and Ben Drew (A.K.A Plan B)? No flares necessary, however, for The Sweeney has had a makeover – so expect incredible visuals, violence and a bit of hard-nosed, gritty police action. You’re nicked.
And for a bit of refinement, improvisation group Austentatious are making it up as they go along this Saturday at the Leicester Square Theatre. Pop in and watch the troupe of six (seven if you include the cello) improvise an entire Jane Austen novel for your amusement. They’ll have you laughing your little britches off.
The next Lovestruck Laissez-Faire is at Carbon Bar, Thurs 20 Sept. It’s fun, free to attend and all are welcome to pop along (even non-Lovestruckers). So tell all your single friends/colleagues and have a drink or two at London’s hottest free ticket in town.
With a miming action asking if you’d like a beer,
The Lovestruck Lovebot
