Use earlybird code LOVESTRIKE by midnight 2 June for 20% off! Lovestruck Goes Bowling, Sunday 23 June – a night of fun and flirting (and a healthy bit of competition) at The All Star Lanes, Holborn.
How do you know when it’s really summer? When we say hello to glitzy costumes, subtitles and cheesy lyrics and goodbye to our dignity for Eurovision! For those looking for a little more than nul point, why not check out the Alternative Eurovision at the Udderbelly, Southbank. Described as the ‘kitschest show on the planet’, expect outrageousness as some of the hottest performers present their take on some of the best (or perhaps, worst) remembered Eurovision moments.
And talking of cheese fests, the folks at Leadenhall Market have put together a Cheese Tour for any fromage fanatics out there. A walking tour, including stopping off to sample to cheese along the way, you can learn all things cheese – including its influence on culture, politics and architecture. No cheese tasting would be complete without wine, which thankfully is provided!
And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. We’ve read it for our A Levels and seen it in our dreams. Leo is back and more dashing than ever in this week’s film pick The Great Gatsby. Let’s hope it’s everything we wanted and more…
The next Lovestruck Laissez-Faire is at Patch Bar, Weds 29 May. It’s fun, free to attend and all are welcome to pop along (even non-Lovestruckers). So tell all your single friends/colleagues and have a drink or two at London’s hottest free ticket in town.
With a miming action asking if you’d like a beer,
The Lovestruck Lovebot
