St Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade
Sunday March 16, Trafalgar Square, 12pm to 6pm;
The Irish are pretty good at partying and now in its 13th year, this festival attracts over 100,000 partygoers. Showcasing the best of Irish culture, dance and music, expect a pretty awesome day. Riverdance are headlining and there are performances from the cast of West End musical The Commitments and Irish folk group Kíla. Heading along Lower Regent Street and Pall Mall, the procession will wind up in Trafalgar Square, where the craic continues all afternoon.
St Patrick’s Shindig on The Thames
Friday March 14, HMS President, Victoria Embankment, 7pm to 2.30am
Set to be one of the biggest Irish-themed parties of the year, this party will feature traditional Irish music, DJs, dancing and a complimentary drink on arrival. The boat will remain moored so guests can come and go as they please. £5 from each
£25 ticket will be donated to doing up the Irish Cultural Centre.
St Patrick’s Day Cultural Celebration
Friday March 14, The Duchess Of Cambridge, 320 Goldhawk Rd, W6 0XF, 7pm;
Irish stand-ups Paddy Lennox, Kieran Lawless, Jarlath Regan, Derek Miles and Gavin Sorohan will help you get into the spirit.
The MC is Jarlath Regan who is also the warm up man for TV sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boy’s BBC1.
St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
Saturday March 15, Shoreditch Gone Wild, 8pm;
Voted one of the bets bar crawl operators in the capital, the party includes free entry to four of the best bars, clubs and live music venues in the area, as well some complementary drinks. Expect green beer, Leprechauns and prizes for the best dressed and best Irish jog.
Just meet at The Shoreditch between 8 and 9pm.
St Patrick’s Day Céili

Catering from complete beginners to experts, this dance event
will help you celebrate in true Irish fashion. An expert caller will
guide you through the steps.
