Here at Lovestruck we always try to bring you the best ideas when it comes to exciting, unusual or different dates. However, from time to time we like to see what the stars say about dating, so here some celebrity date ideas:
Taylor Swift: “Oh wow, I think a perfect date would be if a guy would do something romantic. Anything. I mean, some sort of gesture to let you know that he knows you. I think that when a guy listens to what you are saying and takes it into account and puts some cute spin on it it’s like that’s what you want.”
Harry Styles: “I’m quite old-fashioned. I like going out to dinner. You have the chance to talk to somebody and get to know them better.”
Nicole Scherzinger: “I’m just a normal girl at home. I’m a homebody. I would much rather stay at home than go out. Given the choice, I’d rather have a man that can cook than a man who can dance. I love my food. Nothing fancy – I’m not exactly a super cook – I just appreciate the effort.”
Emmy Rossum: “Honestly, like, a movie and Applebee’s [restaurant]. Just keep it simple. I want to talk to you and know what you thought about the movie afterwards. Because discussing what I do and art and movies and museum exhibitions – that’s one of the biggest pleasures in life is talking about things, so I just want to talk to somebody and see what they think.”
Ed Sheeran: “It wouldn’t be going out anywhere. I wouldn’t be one of those people to take someone to the cinema. I would cook fajitas and watch a box set of a TV show and watch that at my flat. I got given loads of onesies recently, so I would wear one and give one to my date.”
Rihanna: “My favourite thing to do would just be to stay on the couch and watch TV or in the bed and watch TV… That’s the thing. If I don’t know you that well, we can’t really have our perfect date.”
Zayn Malik: “I’m quite old-fashioned, so I’d probably take you out for something to eat, maybe go to the cinema and watch a nice film, then just chill out. I’d definitely bring you flowers too.”
Spencer Matthews: “You can do the whole fast car to a plane to a Michelin-starred restaurant thing, but it’s all a bit too poncey and superficial for my taste. I could easily have the best date of my life in Nando’s. It’s all about the company and whether you have that connection. Getting butterflies in the stomach on a date is far more interesting than the wine you’re drinking, I think.”
Kim Kardashian: “The perfect date for me would be staying at home, making a big picnic in bed, eating Wotsits and cookies while watching cable TV.”
Zac Efron: “”I like to go and do something adventurous. Normal dating is kind of hard …Like dinner or something like that. A forced awkward situation [like that] is very strange. Especially for me for some reason.”
