Now, everyone likes to think they rock in the bedroom and while you may always get positive feedback after a romp between the sheets, there are a few things that lots of women do, that can cause unnecessary stress.
Here they are:
Faking orgasms: Recently a survey showed that 43 per cent of women regularly fake it in bed. But if you do this, how will your partner ever learn to satisfy you? It can make you self conscious that it takes time or a certain type of stimulation to get there but tell him what feels good.
Using the same things your ex loved: Like women, men are designed differently, so if you’re ex loved having his ears nibbled, it doesn’t mean that your new man will. Experiment and take things slowly and gauge his reaction.
Thinking he loves it five times a day: Men would like to be at it like rabbits, no? Well actually not always. Some men have lower sex drives than others. If your man doesn’t fancy sex much, examine your lifestyle choices. Does he drink excessively? Have a stressful job? Is he prone to bouts of depression? All of these things can have a knock-on effect.
Blaming yourself: If you’re partner goes soft during sex, women think they have done something wrong/aren’t attractive enough/aren’t making the right moves etc. However, nerves or stress are often to blame. Don’t make a big deal of it and move on.
Comparing him to your ex: If you’re mind starts wandering off to the past and you find yourself thinking about an ex, bring it back to the present and focus on the moment there and then. Research shows that your sex-life will be much better this way.
Going bare: Despite many women thinking that all men love bare pubic areas, this is not always the case. One survey showed that just as many men were turned on by women who go au naturel. The moral of the tale? Keep it the way you like it.
Hiding your body: Many women feel self-conscious when they are completely starkers and try to hide problem areas or switch out the lights at every opportunity. This can kill the mood so just remember; your man won’t notice those extra inches or dimpled thighs.
