2013 has drawn to a close so we thought we’d look back on the year of the celeb splits 2013. They may have personal trainers, chefs, PAs, housekeepers, dog groomers, toe-nail attendants etc. but it doesn’t mean they are immune to the trials and tribulations of love.
Here they are:
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr
After being married for three years the couple announced their split in October. A statement released by the couple’s spokesperson to E! News said: “Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months” and that “after six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.” The pair started dating in 2007 and have a son, Flynn.
Kym Lomas and Jamie Lomas
This Brit couple have apparently set the wheels in motion to get a divorce. According to reports, the Corrie actress believes there is “no way back” for her and Jamie after a series of rows and rumours that she had been having an affair with her Coronation Street co-star Oliver Mellor.
The couple, who have a two-year-old daughter Polly together, originally announced a trial separation but got back together in September. Then when news of the affair emerged, the Sunday Mirror reported how Kym called 999 after claims that Jamie burst into an alcohol-fuelled rage. Yikes!
Cheryl Cole and Tre Holloway
We don’t know about you but we were delighted that Chezza had finally landed a good ‘un. However in November it was confirmed that the star had ended her 14-month relationship with the dancer back in June. Insiders said they found the long-distance too much to handle.
Cheryl thanked her fans for their support, writing on Twitter: “Sometimes I just sit here by myself wondering why you’re all so kind and nice and caring towards me. It’s gets overwhelming. #soldiers”

Myleene Klass and Graham Quinn
After just seven months of marriage, Myleene was reportedly devastated when husband Graham Quinn walked out on her on her 34th birthday. The couple, who have daughters Ava and Hero, started dating in 2001 and ended their relationship in a 100-second ‘quickie divorce’.
Beyonce and Jay-Z
Whaaaat? We hear you cry. Yes, you read that correctly. Music’s hottest couple had reportedly hit the rocks after Jay Z chose to tour separately rather than co-ordinating with Bey’s schedule. However, after whispers of a trial separation, insiders say they are still together.
HollywoodLife.com has exclusively revealed: “Their marriage is fine, they’re working on getting together more for the holidays, and nobody should expect a breakup, separation or divorce.”
