Five romantic films we’re looking forward to watching

We all love a good rom-com or drama about all things romance-related, so we thought we’d pull together a list of the films we’re most excited about seeing this autumn…. Who knows, if you meet someone special on Lovestruck.com – you could be seeing one of these on a date!

Le Week-end
Release date: October 4
Jeff Goldblum, Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan star in Roger Michell’s biopic about a British couple who attempt to rejuvenate their 30-year wedding anniversary with a trip to Paris, where they spent their honeymoon. Dubbed “sophisticated, sharp and funny” by the critics.

Release date: October 4
This comedy drama follows the members of a 12-step sex addiction treatment group and stars Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Joely Richardson and Tim Robbins. First time director Stuart Blumberg is at the helm. It’s had mixed reviews but looks like a lot of fun to us.

Baggage Claim
Release date: October 11
Adam Brody, Paula Patton, Christina Milian and Trey Songz head up the cast of this highly-anticipated comedy about a woman who starts a 30 day, 30,000-mile expedition to charm a potential suitor. According to the film’s director David E. Talbert, the film seeks to answer the question “How far would you go to find love?”

Enough said
Release date: October 18
The mighty James Galdofini makes his final film appearance in this comedy about a woman who becomes interested in her friend’s ex-husband. The cast is led by Toni Collette, Catherine Keener, Ben Falcone and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Rolling Stone said: “It sounds like rom-com hell. And it would be if Gandolfini and Louis-Dreyfus weren’t such an appealing pair of misfits. It’s a pleasure just to watch them spar.”

Don Jon
Release date: November 15
Don Jon is a 2013 American comedy film written, directed by, and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Don Jon is a New Jersey guy who only cares about his body, his car, his church… and his porn habit. But how will this fit in with his new relationship. Apparently “it’s the perfect date movie.”
