So, you’re gearing up for your first date and wondering what to wear? Fashion items women love often tend to be the ones that men hate…
We did a quick poll of our friends to find out the items that us men don’t rate…
UGG boots: Yes they are comfortable, but these antipodean footwear seem to have seeped into every fashion occasion. Walk in the park? Great. Romantic dinner? OK then. There’s no sexy ankle, no toes – just sweaty sheepskin.
Harem pants: These have come in and out of fashion, but in our (humble) opinion, don’t even look good on Cheryl Cole who, let’s face it, nails every trend. Why hide a pair of decent legs in MC Hammer-style nappy trousers?
Jumpsuits: We think are singly responsible for women spending hours on the bathroom wrestling with their clothing. They make even the best body look shapeless – and somewhat like an overgrown toddler.
Gladiator sandals: We know summer is over – and frankly, thank goodness. Gladiator sandals in their multiple variations just have too many straps. They freak us out.
Dungarees: These hide boobs and waists in hard denim like a builder, which is too manly for our liking.
Tuxedos: Moving on from dungarees, while women may think the unisex look is a good one, we don’t want our girlfriend resembling a man at a black-tie do.
Oversized sunnies: Why would women want to hide a pair of beautiful eyes under a pair of sunglasses that makes them look like ‘the fly’? And if you’ve ever tried to kiss a woman wearing a pair you may cause yourself a serious injury.
Neon: We know it’s all the rage at the moment, and a neon top, say, is fine – but as soon as this trend translates into a neon onesie, we become a bit intimidated.
